Terms of Service
Last updated 9 September 2026
Please read these carefully. They cover how listings, payments, applications and community posts work, and what each of us is responsible for.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Global Work ("Global Work", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of weworkglobal.net, its subdomains, and any service, feature, content or application we make available (together, the "Service").
By accessing the Service, creating an account, posting a listing or paying us, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and "you" means that company.
2. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, and legally able to enter a contract.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States, your country of residence, or any applicable sanctions regime, or if we have previously terminated your account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at support@weworkglobal.net if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. What Global Work is — and is not
Global Work is a listing platform. We publish remote job listings gathered from public sources and from employers who post directly with us, and coworking and workspace listings drawn from open map data and from space owners who list with us.
We are not an employer, employment agency, recruiter, staffing firm, landlord, broker or agent for any user. We do not participate in, guarantee or supervise any hiring decision, employment relationship, booking, lease, licence or payment between you and any employer, workspace, or other member.
We do not screen, background-check, interview or verify employers, workspaces, members or the content they submit, beyond automated checks we may apply at our discretion. Any assessment score, badge, or "reported" marker shown on a listing is an automated or community-sourced signal, not a guarantee.
4. Accounts, profiles and community conduct
Information you put in your profile must be accurate and about you. Do not impersonate anyone, misstate your identity or credentials, or create an account for someone else without their permission.
Public profile fields and community posts are visible to other signed-in members. Do not publish anything about another person you do not have the right to publish.
You agree not to harass, threaten, defame, stalk, spam or discriminate against other members, and not to use member contact details for unsolicited marketing, recruitment scams, or resale.
5. Listings, postings and paid placements
Paid postings for jobs and workspaces are billed at the price shown at checkout, currently one US dollar per day or three hundred US dollars per year for a poster, and are payable in advance.
A listing goes live once payment clears and runs for the period purchased. You may cancel a listing at any time; unless required by law, fees already paid for elapsed or remaining days are non-refundable, because placement is delivered on publication.
You warrant that every listing you post is for a genuine, currently available role or space; that you have the authority to post it; that the compensation, location, work authorisation requirements and terms stated are accurate; and that the application destination you provide is real and under your control.
You may not post listings that require an applicant to pay money, provide banking or identity documents before a written offer, purchase equipment or training, or take part in a multi-level marketing or money-transfer scheme.
We may edit, reclassify, refuse, suspend or remove any listing at any time, with or without notice, including where it appears misleading, expired, duplicated, discriminatory, unlawful, or designed to harvest applicant data. No refund is due for a listing removed for breach of these Terms.
6. Applying for work
Free accounts may submit a limited number of applications in each rolling 24-hour period, currently five. Paid membership plans raise or remove that limit as described at checkout.
When you apply, the materials you submit — including your résumé, cover note and profile details — are sent to or made available to the employer or their applicant system. From that point the employer, not Global Work, controls that data and its own privacy practices apply.
Many listings send you to an employer's own site to apply. Those sites are outside our control and have their own terms.
7. Fees, taxes, billing and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By paying you also accept Stripe's terms.
Subscription plans renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; partial periods are not refunded unless required by law.
Prices are exclusive of any sales tax, VAT, GST or withholding that applies to you, which you are responsible for paying. You are responsible for any chargeback fees arising from a disputed payment you initiated in bad faith.
We may change prices with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
8. Your content and the licence you give us
You keep ownership of everything you submit — profile text, photos, listings, check-ins, messages, reviews and files ("Your Content").
You grant Global Work a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, publish, distribute and display Your Content for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Service, including in search results, previews, newsletters and social posts. This licence ends for future use when you delete Your Content, except for copies retained in backups, in caches beyond our control, or where we must keep records by law.
You warrant that you own or have the rights to Your Content and that publishing it does not infringe anyone's rights or breach any law.
9. Our content, data sources and attribution
The Service itself — its software, design, branding, text, compilations and databases — belongs to Global Work or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and database rights.
Workspace location data is derived from OpenStreetMap and is used under the Open Database Licence, with attribution shown on our workspace pages. Job listings sourced from third-party feeds and employer career sites remain the property of their publishers; we link back to the original posting.
Third-party names, logos and marks are the property of their owners and appear for identification only. Their appearance does not imply partnership or endorsement in either direction.
10. Acceptable use, scraping and automation
You may not copy, scrape, crawl, index, harvest, frame, mirror, resell or systematically extract any part of the Service or its data, whether manually or by any bot, script or automated means, except by a public search engine obeying our robots file.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, probe, load-test, bypass rate limits, circumvent authentication, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
You may not upload malware, use the Service to send spam or phishing, or use it to build a competing dataset or product.
We may throttle, suspend or block any account, IP address or device that we reasonably believe is engaged in these activities.
11. Reports, moderation and takedowns
Members can report listings that appear expired, fake or fraudulent. Reports help us but do not create any obligation for us to investigate or act within any particular time.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@weworkglobal.net identifying the work, the exact URL, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act. We will remove or disable material where appropriate and may terminate repeat infringers.
12. Third-party sites and services
The Service links to employer sites, workspace operators, booking networks, travel providers, payment processors and other third parties. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, security or practices. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It forms part of these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that any listing is genuine, current, lawful or accurate; that any application will receive a response; that any workspace is open, safe or available; that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; or that data shown, including exchange rates, news, opening hours, pay figures and flight information, is accurate or up to date. Nothing on the Service is legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical or employment advice.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Work and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunities, loss of goodwill, or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to the Service, however caused and on any theory of liability.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period, or one hundred US dollars.
These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Global Work from any claim, demand, loss, liability, penalty or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your listings, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or of any law, or your dealings with any other user, employer or workspace.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access, remove your content and cancel listings, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing would expose us or other members to risk.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licence for retained copies, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and dispute resolution — survive.
18. Disputes, governing law and arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and, where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply, by those protections as well.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@weworkglobal.net and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days.
Any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Delaware, in English, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court or seek injunctive relief to protect intellectual property.
To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as a class, collective or representative action, and must be filed within one year of the events giving rise to them.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When changes are material we will update the date at the top and, where practical, notify account holders. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
20. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us on this subject. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, franchise or employment relationship.
